I guess it’s a good thing our records two stations at the same time. This is such a busy Tivo night, we’ll have to have the Blues game on in the other room.
As excessive as all of this is, it’s especially funny/depressing since only 2 months ago, I only used the TV as a monitor for the random video game or movie from the Netflix account (which currently competes for time with Tivo). I swore there was nothing good on TV (since they cancelled Firefly, the greatest TV ever). I don’t know that I was wrong, but it hasn’t stopped me from finding time to record and watch TV again.
I don’t care when anything’s on, it’s just there when we get around to it. We don’t have to be really excited about a show to rationalize watching a few episodes, we just tell Tivo we’re interested and it stores it in case we get around to it. For the shows we’ve decided we need to see, we can make sure they’re available when we can watch it.
Yay for Tivo!
